This website is about Muscle Pain. There are
many other kinds of pain and many other causes, but I am only focused on muscles. Sources of information about muscle pain
include:
1. Direct experience with my own body, things I have tried, things that have worked for
me.
2. Things that I have learned one-on-one from teachers. Whenever I found someone that knew
something about pain, whether they were a chiropractor, MD or massage teacher, I have asked them questions, and asked and
asked again, until I understood what they were talking about in my own terms.
3. Things that I have read about
in books. All books will be sited when appropriate.
4. Things that I have experienced first hand
as a massage therapist with clients. Tactile results that could be seen and measured, such as feeling a knot
in a muscle dissolve, or witnessing someone heal after an accident.
5. Things that regular everyday people have
told me worked for them.
6. Things I needed to look up in reference materials.
I use www.dictionary.com and www.wikipedia.com in general, and when I use a specific reference material, other than these
two, I will site it.
